Exmouth Trading, a Dubai LLC established trading company, is part of the SMA Group.

SMA Group, established in 1908 by El-Sheikh Mustafa El-Amin as one of the oldest privately owned Sudanese companies. SMA Group has continued to evolve from its early roots in agriculture over more than 100 years ago as its business grew and strategically diversified into various business sectors and markets becoming a major and well respected player in the Sudanese economy.

With its roots in agriculture, SMA Group today is a diversified and fully integrated company (conglomerate) with strategic operations all over Sudan and Africa across a wide range of sectors including agriculture, chemicals, education, free zones, foods, insurance and banking services, healthcare, hospitality and tourism, industrial manufacturing, and logistics.

Through the years SMA Group served many consumer segments, social impact initiatives, capacity building and supported various governments programs in improving the livelihoods of the Sudanese people and overall image of Sudan, by the 1980’s the SMA Group had supplied 45% of all Sudan’s agriculture exports.
